Our mission is to prevent animal cruelty by reducing the over-population of dogs and cats in
Tennessee and facilitating the development of leadership, fundraising and strategic expertise in
spay and neuter organizations throughout the state.

  1. Facilitating the development of leadership and collaboration among the residents,
veterinary and nonprofit constituencies, private business and local government in
communities where there is a substantial overpopulation problem.
  2. Communicating the importance of the “spay & neuter your pets” message through public
awareness campaigns designed to educate and motivate communities to tackle the
    overpopulation problem.
  3. Training and resources for animal nonprofits seeking fundraising, marketing and
management assistance with start-up and/or expansion of spay and neuter programs in
    their communities.
  4. Implementing and incubating spay/neuter programs in communities where none currently
    exist.
  5. Funding The Tennessee Spay & Neuter Fund to provide a permanent and ever growing
funding support of spay and neuter activities for Middle Tennessee communities.

Empowering those individuals who are dedicating their lives to protecting and improving the
lives of our best friends… our companion animals and the innocent strays who cannot speak
for themselves.
Through sheer commitment they have already done so much…with  the right tools, better
resources and more funding…just image what they  can accomplish!
